What services does AboveBoard offer Opportunity Partners?

Opportunity Partners can list unlimited opportunities on the platform via our Reach service offering, which is included in our base Platform Fee. Our Success Team, comprised of experienced search professionals, also offers additional recruiting support that you can find on our Opportunity Partner page.

How is AboveBoard different from a job board?

AboveBoard is a transparent marketplace platform that brings exceptional executive talent and companies together. All members on our platform have completed our application process, ensuring that they are VP level or above. Our Success team vets all applicants.

Can I post an opportunity instantly?

AboveBoard is a digital platform wrapped with experts in executive placement, who walk you through each step of the process. Once you sign up as an Opportunity Partner, it takes just one onboarding meeting to get all of the information necessary from you–a company and position description–your opportunity is listed as soon as this step is complete.

What happens after an opportunity is listed on AboveBoard?

When an opportunity is listed, our Members can find it based on its attributes (industry, function, size, title,...,) read the position description, and express interest. Our Success Team will provide the Opportunity Partner with the interested members’ information so that they can reach out directly. Opportunity Partners can also upgrade their service package to have AboveBoard’s success team help.

What is the difference between an Opportunity Partner and a hiring company?

Opportunity Partners are PE/VC firms or companies that have partnered with AboveBoard to identify high caliber, world-class, diverse, executive talent for full-time executive, board, advisory or interim positions. In some instances, Opportunity Partners sponsor hiring companies on the platform. In other cases, the Opportunity Partner is the hiring company.

What role do recruiters play on the platform?

Hiring companies and Opportunity Partners may be using recruiting services in addition to AboveBoard. If you express interest in an opportunity where a recruiting firm is leading the interview process on behalf of the hiring company, they will be the first point of contact for that role should your profile be a match.
